Following a successful pilot carried out in 2023, the Alt Han Co – the regulated, not-for-profit collective of UK energy suppliers – have today announced the start of the full roll out of the Crowded Meter Room Service – which facilitates access to smart meter services to consumers in apartment blocks.

As a key partner in the pilot project, IMServ are proud to continue to provide our industry leading metering expertise and delivery to the nationwide roll out programme, enabling access to smart meter data to those living in buildings with crowded meter rooms.

Steve Brown, CEO of IMServ, said: “We’re really pleased to have been confirmed as partners in the ongoing rollout of this critical project – the energy transition is facilitated by the data that smart meters provide, so it’s vital that these properties are given access to the latest technology.

IMServ have been providing critical metering and data services for nearly 30 years, and we’re proud to have been asked to support the AltHan project with our specialist metering expertise.“
