IMServ was recognised for its outstanding contribution to energy savings at the Energy Awards, held on 2 December at the Hilton Park Lane, London.

The UK’s largest independent energy data management provider was presented with the Gold Award in the Energy Data Collection and Analysis category for its contribution in enabling Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust to realise a 60% energy saving. Over 500 people attended the awards evening, where the top companies were rewarded for their achievements and excellence in the energy sector. IMServ competed against five other entrants in the Energy Data Collection and Analysis category including British Gas Connected Homes and Virgin Media and Partners. The nine judges including Julie Allen, Energy Manager at Nandos Chickenland, Andrew Gaved, Editor RAC, John Hall, Chairman at Alfa Energy, and Paul Hanrahan, MD at Vexo, agreed that IMServ was a clear winner.

Steve Brown, Managing Director at IMServ said  “We are very proud to have won this award,  especially working with a client in such a critical industry.  The NHS is under constant pressure to save money so being able to make significant energy savings is vital, especially as it spends over £750* million a year on energy alone.”

The Energy Awards host, Andrew Gaved said: “It is fitting that in the week of the Paris global climate talks, we can celebrate projects, technology and services that make a real difference to our energy use.  The winners here demonstrate that innovation in energy can help save the planet and often save money at the same time – and that should provide inspiration for both businesses and governments alike.”
